Daniel Cascaddan

I had lived in Vancouver since the final few days of last century, and then at the end of 2014 Melissa and I moved back to Sacramento, very near our old High School. I teach rocketry classes, and hold the launches at the good old Mira Loma High School track. I have done a great many interesting things in my life, including serving as a Navy PACE Professor, aboard the guided missile destroyer Nitze, on deployment in the Persian Gulf. My passions are photography, music, aviation, science fiction and an intense interest in the Cold War era.

I have three nephews and three nieces. They are a great source of joy in my life. My father passed away at the beginning of 2013. My mother, grandmother, brother and sister-in-law, and two of my nephews all still live in Vancouver. I grew up in Sacramento, and am back here again. My wife is an absolute rock star, and my miracle.
